Racer’s are fully invested in what they do.

If you are a racer who’s in this for the long haul, having a well equipped shop, tools and a great trailer and truck to transport your race car are truly an investment in every sense of the word.

Any race team worth it’s salt will also look at building sponsorship relationships as a true investment into their programs.

Think about it. Sometimes these deals can take several months or even years to build. Look at building these relationships sort of like a marathon. And just like the physical parts of your racing operation your marketing partners and what they contribute to your operation most certainly has a value to it.

That investment can also grow over time. Sponsorship in itself is a business activity that is designed to increase sales. If you think about it, when that sponsorship grows over time that asset will also grow in value when it comes to your team’s overall value.

Biggest takeaway here is consider your sponsorship search as a true marathon. Slow and steady wins the race. This sport is about people. It’s all about networking and building relationships.
