LAKESHORE BOOK SHOW AUTHOR LINEUP LOCKED AT MANITOWOC’S SABBATICAL BREWING CO.

(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) October 17, 2024 – The list of authors scheduled to appear at the third annual Lakeshore Book Show and Author Signing Saturday, Nov. 9 at Sabbatical Brewing Co. in Manitowoc Wis. is fresh off the press.

True to the narrative of the two editions of the popular event, this year’s show will allow book enthusiasts of all ages, interests and genres to peruse and purchase a diverse array of books from a wide range of regional authors.

Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free admission, 28 local and regional authors will be on hand for the 2024 event.

The nonfiction and fiction books showcased at this year’s show cover a wide range of topics, including true crime, auto racing, autobiography, self-help, military history, youth sports/coaching, romance, Christian/inspirational poetry, medieval fantasy, children’s stories, and more.

True crime and motorsports author Joe Verdegan of Dunbar, Wis., who wrote the Amazon No. 1 true crime best-seller “The Reformatory – Tales from Green Bay’s Maximum Security Prison” in 2020, is scheduled to return to the show for the third consecutive year. In addition to his acclaimed true crime book “The Reformatory” detailing prison life at the Green Bay Correctional Institution, Verdegan has also released six additional books covering the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan auto racing scene during his fruitful career as an author.

Verdegan will unveil his 2025 release date for his eighth book featuring The Monfils 6 Case from Green Bay, Wisconsin.

During this year’s Lakeshore  Book Show and Author Signing, Verdegan plans to unveil the release date for his next book “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later” detailing one of the highest profile and heavily debated cases in Brown County history in which six Green Bay paper mill workers were convicted in the 1992 death of Tom Monfils.

The following authors are also scheduled to be on hand with copies of their books for sale during the event.
