Verdegan will be joined by Appleton racing legend J.J. Smith who will sign copies of the 2018 book Verdegan penned ‘The Bird & The Bear.’ Smith is one of the two main subjects in the book, along with Smith’s longtime archrival, the late Roger ‘The Bear’ Regeth.

In addition a number of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan race tracks will have booths at the show. Those tracks include 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, Beaver Dam Raceway, Escanaba Motor Speedway in Escanaba, Michigan and Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna.

According to Moede, more used parts vendors have signed up for the 2024 show than ever before in past years.

The show hours will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can reach Moede at (920) 639 4455 for additional information.

In addition to the multiple racing-related vendors and racetracks who have displays the show serves as a great swap meet and drivers sell all sorts of new and used race parts, equipment, and supplies. The heated expo building, located on the east end of the fairgrounds, provides ample space for tables, booths, and exhibits.

More than 600 people made their way through the doors of the show the last time it was held in Luxemburg in 2023.

Parking is free with food and beverages prepared and sold by the FFA Algoma Alumni.

Adult admission is $7.00 (including vendors). Kids 12 and under are admitted free. You can become a member of the group “Luxemburg Racing Show” through Facebook as well. All up-to-date information regarding the show, including new vendors who sign up, will be released through this Facebook page.
