Wisconsin’s all-time winningest IMCA stock car driver, Pulaski’s “Hot Rod” Snellenberger, fired the opening salvo buy capturing the opening night division win at the fourth annual Clash On The Coast at Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, Florida yesterday.

Snellenberger, who bumped his all-time IMCA win total to 229 with the Florida victory, topped a 39 car field representing several states.

Snellenberger led a contingent of Wisconsin pilots who also decided to get a jump start on their respective racing seasons. Those racers include Denmark’s Cole Czarneski (IMCA modified & stock car), Abrams “Dancin’ Lance” Arneson (IMCA modified), Monroe’s Derek Thompson (IMCA modified), Shawano’s Trent Nolan (IMCA stock car), Krakow’s Josh Mroczkowski (IMCA stock car), Appleton’s Zackary Marg (IMCA stock car) and Eagle River’s Dustin White (IMCA northern sportmod & stock car).

White placed ninth in the stock car main on opening night while Czarneski finished 13th, Mroczkowski 14th and Nolan 24th.

In the IMCA modified main, Arneson and Czarneski took 18th and 19th, respectively with DNF’s.
No Wisconsin drivers made the main in the sportmod division.

The Clash On The Coast runs through February 28. You can catch the action at IMCATV.
