(Zdroik, Belland & Josh Smith top three in points heading into 2nd $1,000-to-win event)
(EAGLE RIVER, WI) – B Mod racers from Wisconsin and Michigan will converge upon Eagle River Speedway’s D shaped, third-mile clay oval Tuesday, July 13 for Round II of the B Mod, Triple Crown Challenge Series.
Each feature in the three-race series pays $1,000 to the winner. Hometown driver Jason Zdroik copped the series’ first event June 22. The three-race series has a point fund that pays 10 spots deep, with the winner pocketing a cool $1,500 for the championship.
The series is open to IMCA-style sportmods, WISSOTA-style Midwest Modifieds and USRA B modifieds. All cars for this series are mandated to use the Hoosier G 60 tire. The series point fund sponsors include Chef Rene’s, Red’s Auto, Hartman Well Drilling and Coffen Construction.
A full show of stock cars, street stocks, 300 and 600 sprints are also on tap.
The draw cutoff for drivers is 6:45 p.m. Hot laps are set for 7:15 p.m. with the first green flag flying at 7:30 p.m.
Businesses and individuals who are willing to contribute to the point fund and potentially allow even more spots to pay out for the point fund are encouraged to reach out to zdroikseagleriverspeedway@gmail.com.
Fans and drivers are encouraged to check the track’s Facebook page as well as the track’s website eagleriverspeedway.com.
