RICHIE WAUTERS – STILL SHORT TRACKIN’ THRU THE DECADES

Concord, North Carolina has been home to Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin native Richie Wauters for decades as he has worked full time in the racing industry. He continues to do so in 2021. Wauters Motorsports will field a car for NASCAR’s Aric Almirola in the ARCA Midwest Tour’s Gandrud Auto Group 250 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, Wisconsin August 3.
Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin native Richie Wauters packed his bags and moved down south three decades ago, plunging full time into the racing business.
In 2021 he remains a survivor in the short track business. We caught up with Richie and he talked about how he got his start in racing as a teenager and talked about the many drivers his cars have housed over the years.
