While Mike Schmelzer is best known in recent years as the man running Bay Speed Center in De Pere, Wisconsin the Door County native had an illustrious racing career himself. At one points in the 1970s Schmelzer would race up to four nights a week on both dirt and asphalt tracks. Listen in as Schmelzer talks about how it all got started!
