(Father-son tandem talk about six decades worth of racetrack announcing and other shenanigans)
(Dunbar, Wisconsin) – An eight-episode podcast series featuring longtime short track announcer Roger “The Mouth” Mueller and his son Eric “Lil’ Mouth Mueller will debut at joeverdegan.com Monday, January 9.
Roger Mueller, who was a 2022 inductee in the Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame, was “the voice” of Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car Association (EWSCA) at Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth and at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek when the track was a paved quarter-mile throughout the 1970’s into the 1990’s. He would later move on to become a starter and even race director at many other racetracks across Wisconsin.
Eric Mueller began his racing career as a young teen, acting as a producer for his father’s radio show “Let’s Talk Eastern” in the 1990’s and launched his own public address announcing career shortly thereafter. The younger Mueller currently handles the public address announcing at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
The eight-episode series, which launches Monday, January 9, is sponsored by Muenster Service Center of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Each episode will be launched late mornings and can be obtained at Spotify or wherever you obtain your audio podcasts.
