When one weighs the pros and cons of our digital age with social media and what not, you truly can handle motorsports marketing in some way, shape or form literally 52 weeks out of the year.
The reason being since we’ve all become attached to our phones and tablets (I’m guilty as charged with this) it’s truly never been easier because that access is always right at our collective fingertips.
Whether it’s a new sponsor announcement, a brief photo during the off season of your car or trucks tear down or a bulletin releasing your team’s season schedule. It can be done quickly and efficiently.
And it really doesn’t matter what ‘vehicle’ per se you use. Facebook seems to a common one. Twitter (now called X), Instagram and Snapchat are all legit and valuable tools you can use to literally showcase and market your racing operation.
Just make sure when you do post stuff make sure you proofread your verbiage before sharing. Trust me, I am sometimes guilty of this offense on Facebook and after re-reading what I post, I can simply go back and edit the material.
Most of you that I have worked with over the years have used these forms of social media quite effectively. This is one of the ‘pros’ of modern day technology. Instant access to help get your message out – whatever that message is! It’s never been easier!
