59 cars across 4 divisions signed in to battle for wins and points on night number two of the championship hunt. With the calendar set to flip to June the action on the track proved to heat up just like the rising mercury on the thermometer.
The Kroll Machine and Fabrication Stock Car main event opened with Caden Lemieux shooting into the lead from the outside of the front row on the opening lap. Lemieux held court on the field despite back to back cautions on laps 8 and 9. While Lemieux tried to run away from the pack John Anschutz ran 2nd while Kyle Resch and Dan Sell Jr. battled for 3rd. Sell worked the high line to grab 3rd from Resch on lap 12 and set his sights on reeling in Anschutz in 2nd. Sell closed to the back bumper of Anschutz and made the pass for 2nd with 5 laps remaining. Sell gave furious chase to Lemieux but there were not enough laps remaining for him to mount a challenge. Lemieux held on to capture the first feature win with his new car, Sell settled for 2nd, Anschutz 3rd, Brett Wenzel 4th, and Resch rounded out the top 5. Lemieux also pocketed an extra $100 for the clean sweep on the night courtesy of Jacob Kaye by also winning his heat race earlier in the evening.
The T. Simon Jewelers Northern Sport Mod feature event saw George Henkel grab the lead at the drop of the green. By the halfway mark Henkel opened a comfortable advantage over Geno Sternard, Gary Henkel, Roger Laviolette, and Brayden Lemieux. Lemieux muscled by the inside of Laviolette on lap 16 to move into 4th and 2 laps later shot into 3rd sliding by Gary Henkel. As the checkers flew George Henkel grabbed the win, Sternard finished 2nd, Lemieux capped a strong run with 3rd, Gary Henkel 4th, and Laviolette 5th.
The Millies Pub and Grub Unified Dirt Street Stock main event started with Josh Novak leading the opening lap in track promoter John Sternard’s former championship winning car. Bailey Laviolette moved to 2nd early in the event with an extra $1000 on the line courtesy of Daubner Enterprises and Kroll Enterprises, each of them putting up a $500 bonus if Laviolette could come out on top. Lap 3 saw “Fast Fox” Tyler Fox move past Laviolette into the runner up spot. The race was marred by a long red flag on lap 5 when rookie driver Kimberly Robertoy crashed hard into the front stretch wall just off turn 4. Door County Fire and Rescue was called to the track to help extricate the driver from her car. Robertoy was transported to a local hospital and any updates on her condition will be reported as information comes in.
When the race restarted Fox was able to move inside Novak to steal the lead on lap 6. Fox continued to lead past the halfway mark until “The Hammer” Dave DeGrave powered by on lap 12. The following lap caution slowed the pace and Fox retired from the event while running 2nd. DeGrave was able to hold off all comers over the closing laps to capture his first win of the season at The Hill. Derek Kaye continued a strong beginning to the 2026 season with a 2nd place finish, “The Muscles From Brussels” Garrett Geyer was 3rd, Tyler Nettekoven 4th, and Novak hung on to finish in the top 5.
The Dykesville Bowl 4 Cylinder A-main saw Trevor Vandehei pace the field through the early portion of the event. Opening night winner, “Spiderman” Scott Schlafke, worked past Vandehei and went on to win his 2nd feature win in as many weeks. Vandehei held on for 2nd, Logan Boehnlein 3rd, Dallas Topel 4th, and Chase Ertel 5th.
