MOTORSPORTS AUTHOR VERDEGAN ANNOUNCES FOUR-DATE “5-10-32” 2022 RACETRACK BOOK TOUR

(Tour slated to kick off April 16 at Shawano Speedway)

(Dunbar, Wisconsin) – Motorsports author Joe Verdegan has announced a four-day racetrack book tour of his Amazon No. 1 best seller “5-10-32 McBride, Parker & Anvelink” for 2022.

The book tells the stories of the colorful race careers of a trio of northeastern Wisconsin dirt late model icons – Shawano’s M.J. McBride, Kaukauna’s Pete Parker and Navarino’s Terry Anvelink.

The four-date tour is slated to kick off at the season opener for Shawano Speedway Saturday, April 16. The signing, which will run underneath the grandstand of the legendary half-mile from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. will also serve as the Dirt Kings late model series opening race.

The second stop on the tour will be at the season opening race at The ‘Burg Speedway in Luxemburg Sunday, May 1. That signing is set to run from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds.

Later that week the tour makes a stop at Outagamie Speedway in Seymour for the season opening race at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds Friday, May 6. That signing is scheduled to go from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The tour wraps up Saturday, June 25 with a trip to Door County at The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay. The Sturgeon Bay signing, which will occur during the track’s popular Hall of Fame night, is set to run from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at John Miles Park.

All of Verdegan’s other racing titles will be sold at discounted prices at all four of these signings. In the event of a rainout attempts will be made to reschedule.
