DUQUAINE DOWNS FOES FOR FIRST GSR KARTWAY FEATURE (submitted by Scott J. Owen)
(Clintonville, WI) 07/09/2025–Fresh off a dominant win in the prestigious Slinger Nationals Super Late Model event, NASCAR star Ty Majeski returned to his racing roots to sponsor the nights racing at the GSR Kartway. Majeski was a regular competitor at the track in his youth.
A season high 85 competitors were on hand. Highlights of the night included a first ever feature win for Junior Three competitor Ivy Duquaine. Not only was it her first win, but she did it in dramatic fashion with a last lap pass. Kiddie Kart racer Bennett Zinda also utilized a last lap pass for his first career win.
The Sportsmen class saw a late race pass by Pewaukee’s Jesse Heary for his second consecutive win. Ty Reichenberger was dominant en route to his first win of the year in the Rookie Box Stock class. Fourth-generation racer Cole Baierl notched his third win in the Box Stock class. Grayson McKeever held off a hard-charging Alex Jacklin to win the Racing for Education feature. Payten Anderson secured her second R Box Wing feature. Ben Froh made it two in a row in Junior Two action.
Chase Olson notched his first BP Wing feature win. Kirk Quaintance made a successful return to racing in the Senior class by holding off his brother Dakota to win his first feature of the year. Dustin Wudstrack, the Ginger Beard Man, won his first Outlaw Mower race of the year.
