DIVERSITY ABOUNDS IN 19-DATE, OUTAGAMIE SPEEDWAY 2023 SCHEDULE

Diversity will be the name of the game at Outagamie Speedway when it comes to its 2023 season schedule.
A 19-date schedule featuring no less than nine divisions will be served up to race fans at the third-mile, clay oval located at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour, Wisconsin. The weekly, Friday night show will again feature IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods, sport compacts and Unified Dirt Street Stocks. The season opener is scheduled for Friday, May 5 with racing action getting underway at 6:30 p.m.
In addition to the weekly program a handful of special events will be sprinkled in throughout the summer schedule.

The WABAM Dirt Kings late model Tour will make a trio of appearances, including May 26, June 30 and the 2023 FALL BRAWL which is set for Saturday, September 9. IRA Outlaw sprint cars will invade Seymour July 21 as part of the Outagamie County Fair event. The nearly 900 horsepower winged warriors will be joined by IMCA modifieds and stock cars.
The Wisconsin Legends Racing Dirt Series will make a pair of appearances May 12 and June 2. The final points night of racing will crown champions on Friday, September 1.
As far as the defending track champions are concerned, Hortonville’s Ryan Schmidt plans an all-out defense of his IMCA northern sportmod crown while Beaver Dam’s James Fletcher will go for his third straight Unified Dirt Street Stock title.

A new champ will be crowned in the IMCA stock car class, however. 2022 champion Kyle Frederick of Oconto Falls will have to miss a few Friday nights. Hometown driver Jayden Schmidt is the defending IMCA modified champion while Kaukauna’s Thomas Schulte is the defending champ in the IMCA sport compacts.
In 2022 a total of 288 race teams signed in to do battle in weekly points racing at Seymour. That number included 71 IMCA stock cars, 62 IMCA northern sportmods, 56 IMCA modifieds, 51 Unified Dirt street stocks and 48 IMCA sport compacts.
