(Dunbar, WI) – Best-selling true crime and motorsports author Joe Verdegan is slated to be the guest speaker at the Saloon Stories “Crooks and Spooks” series at Chris & Sue’s Place in Plymouth, Wisconsin Thursday, March 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
A Green Bay native and current Dunbar, Wisconsin resident, Verdegan has penned seven books including the 2020 Amazon No. 1 best seller “The Reformatory – Tales From Green Bay’s Maximum-Security Prison.” The book details stories from Verdegan’s near 27 years at working the front lines at the nearly 130-year-old-maximum-security prison located in Allouez prison. Some of those tales Verdegan plans on sharing are haunting in nature, with a touch of even some paranormal activity at times.
Verdegan will also provide an update to the latest book he continues to work on – “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later.” The book covers the case of six Green Bay area men who were convicted in the 1992 paper mill death of Tom Monfils in Green Bay.
Verdegan’s stop in Plymouth, Wisconsin Thursday, March 16 is part of a four-date book tour in March throughout Wisconsin.
