What is brand loyalty?

Fortunately for race team owners (both large and small) in short track racing it’s a feather in your cap so to speak. Many studies have been done by think tanks at the NASCAR, Indy Car and Formula I level which provide direct proof that race fans are among the most willing consumers who will buy and use products or services that they associate with race teams and tracks.

For motorsports fans specifically, their purchase decisions are heavily influenced by the sponsors they see in the sport they love. In an independent survey of 1,000 nationwide, random motorsports fans, 71% of them reported that they “Almost always” or “Frequently” choose a product involved in motorsports over one that is not, simply because of the sponsorship.

From the same study, 57% indicated that they had a higher trust in motorsports sponsors then even ads viewed during the Superbowl. Sports fans don’t get more loyal than this.
