“BATTLE AT BUCKAROO” SPECIAL MAY 26 HIGHLIGHTS ’23 SEASON AT CECIL KART TRACK
(Little Buckaroo Jr. Motorsports Park hosts Memorial Day weekend special)
(Cecil, WI) – The first ever “Battle At Buckaroo” event is slated for Friday, May 26 at the Little Buckaroo Jr. Motorsports Park in Cecil, Wisconsin.
The eighth-mile clay oval is expected to draw racers from as many as three states. The show will feature 12 kart features and a cash payout for most divisions. “We expect to draw many teams to the south of us including many folks from Illinois,” said Little Buckaroo’s Brian Ambrosius. “Sometimes we get families from Illinois who are heading up north and they decide to bring their karts with them and stop by us to race on the way up. We’re looking for this race to be a big night heading into Memorial Day weekend.”
The special event will employ Little Buckaroo weekly division rules. Burris tires will be utilized, and division’s will be hosted with a minimum of six karts in each class. Entries are limited to one per driver, meaning a person can only compete in one class during this special event. All divisions except the kid karts will have a cash payout, while the kid karters will earn non-cash awards for their accomplishments.
On May 26 the pit area opens at 4 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with green flag racing getting underway at 7 p.m. A $30.00 race fee will be charged for competitors plus a $10.00 draw fee. There is no draw fee for Kids Karts. There will be no transponder fee for this event. Spectator admission is $5.00 with kids 8 and under admitted free of charge.
