BAIERL’S BREAKOUT YEAR CONTINUES AT GSR KARTWAY (submitted by Scott J. Owen)
(CLINTONVILLE, WI) July 30 –Though Mother Nature had recently thwarted Wednesday night racing, this week she provided stellar weather at GSR Kartway in Clintonville.
A season high 84 competitors took the opportunity to get back in action. Fourth generation racer Cole Baierl continued his breakout year with his fourth feature win in the Box Stock class. Todd Schertz also notched his fourth win in the Outlaw Mower class.
R Box wing racer Jett Harju cruised to his third win of the year. Fresh off her first ever win, Ivy Duquaine notched a clean sweep in the Junior Three class. Kiddie Karter Kendall Anderson, Rookie Box Stock racer Ty Reichenberger, Junior Two beast Bennett Bongers, and Sportsman standout Tyler Olson each secured their second feature wins of the year also.
Racing for Education competitor Alex Jacklin scored win number one of the year. Racing dad Dakota Quaintance secured his first Senior Sportsman win. Racing will continue next Wednesday night.
