According to mediamaxnetwork.com, large businesses spend about 13 percent of their annual budgets on advertising and marketing while smaller ones on average spend roughly 10 percent of their annual budget on advertising.
What’s important to know for those of us in the racing industry is NOW is the time most of these businesses are crafting their advertising budgets for 2024. September is a month where the weekly racing is all but done in the Upper Midwest. It’s “special” season and although it’s been a grind and it’s tempting to just leave the car in the shop, strip it down or walk away from the sport for a few weeks, I’d suggest NOT delaying when it comes to reaching out to businesses to partner up with for your 2024 racing operation.
Businesses no matter how big or small still need to get the word out. And what better avenue you can provide than the truly, outside-of-the-box method known as motorsports marketing?
