MARINETTE COUNTY AUTHOR VERDEGAN ADDS “AUTHOR TALK” DATE FOR GOODMAN OPEN HOUSE MARCH 29
(Verdegan to discuss past works and his latest book “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later”)
(Dunbar, WI) – Marinette County best-selling author and Dunbar, Wisconsin resident Joe Verdegan will be the featured speaker for the “Author Talk” program at the Goodman Open House at the Goodman Public Library Wednesday, March 29.
Verdegan, author of seven books including the 2020 Amazon No. 1 best seller “The Reformatory – Tales From Green Bay’s Maximum-Security Prison” will talk about the past books he’s penned, including many of the stories Verdegan observed in his nearly 27 years working the front lines of the often-dangerous maximum security penitentiary in Allouez, Wisconsin.
In addition, Verdegan will provide updates to the latest book he has been working on, which will be titled “The Monfils 6 Case – 30 Years Later.” The book will dig into the 1992 death of Green Bay paper mill worker Tom Monfils, the six men who were convicted of his death in 1995 and the aftermath of the case decades later.
The “Author Talk” segment is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Goodman Public Library is located within the Goodman Public High school, which is located at 610 Main St, Goodman, WI 54125. Verdegan will have copies of his books available at the Author Talk.
