SCHERTZ AMONG GSR KARTWAY WINNERS SEPT. 2 by Scott J. Owen
(CLINTONVILLE, WI) SEPT. 2 – It was a family reunion in victory land for the Schertz family. Todd Schertz won his impressive 9th feature of the year in the Mares Farm Market Outlaw Mower class. While his daughter Olivia scored her 2nd feature win in the Little Wolf Auto Sportsmen division.
In other news, Wyatt Wuesthoff (Kiddie Kart) and Jeremie Hedrick (Senior) each notched their first GSR feature wins of the year. After one week of finishing second, Kaleb Moeller raced back to victory lane in the R Box Wing class. It was his 12th feature win. Kens Sports Box Stock racer Mya Quaintance made it two in a row in an ultra competitive feature race.
Maddon Henry secured his 7th win in the Rookie Box Stock class. Brigham Schroeder continued his late summer dominance in the Junior Three division with his 5th feature win. Landon Boldt has only been to GSR twice this summer and won the feature on both trips, including this past Wednesday. While Chase Olson continues to roll in the BP Wing class with his 5th straight feature win.
Racing continues the next two Friday nights September 11th and 18th. The annual fall special, the Badger 50, will be held Friday and Saturday September 25th and 26th. More information can be found online at gsrkartway.com, the My Race Pass app, or on the track’s Facebook page.
