UPDATED REGIONAL DIRT TRACK FEATURE WINS AS OF AUG. 24

I seem to be saying this a lot lately but where has the summer gone?
For real – it just seems to keep getting shorter and shorter each year. Perhaps that comes with age.
When looking at our numbers for regional dirt track, feature winners, the sportmod class has the most winners with 42 different drivers earning main event wins at the tracks we keep count at.
When it comes to parity, the division dubbed “Too-Tough-To-Tame” – the IMCA stock cars, have seen 41 different drivers in victory lane in 2026. The next highest number is the modifieds (31), 29 different drivers have won in the four-cylinders, while 26 different drivers have found victory lane in the street stock class.
The number of grand national winners currently sits at 13, while the late models are at nine different winners. The USRA/LS late model numbers are at 13 winners. However, those numbers may be off as those include drivers who may have also won at tracks that don’t have MyRacePass like Three Lakes, for example.

For many tracks, championships will be decided this week, while some others already have. Some teams have stopped racing locally, and are prepping for a week of racing down at the IMCA supernationals in Boone (IA). Whatever the case, make sure you get out and support your local track IN PERSON whenever possible. Because NOTHING beats BEING THERE in person.
