Posted on: Monday October 13, 2025

Seymour’s Mike Mullen topped all area late model competitors with seven feature wins in ’25. (danlewisphoto.net)
When the final checkered flag flew on night No. 2 of 141 Speedway’s “Car Wars” doubleheader weekend this past Saturday, the 2025 racing season finally came to a close in northeastern Wisconsin.
During the season, this website tracked regional dirt track feature winners in multiple divisions. In most cases, our data was obtained by MyRacePass. If there are any discrepancies, feel free to email me at jverdegan2@gmail.com.
At any rate, we saw 195 different drivers earn feature wins in all of these divisions: late models, IMCA modified, IMCA stock car, IMCA northern sportmod, Unified Dirt Street Stock, Grand National and IMCA sport compact.
In some cases, some of the divisions were not sanctioned for tracks in Sturgeon Bay, Chilton and Plymouth Dirt Track. This column will highlight some of the top performers in the respective divisions. Along the way, we dug up some interesting stats. We did have a number of drivers who scored feature wins in more than one division. One driver, Denmark’s Cole Czarneski, earned feature wins in a trio of classes: late model, IMCA mod & stock car. Seven other drivers earned victories in two different classes. (See below)

Casco’s Benji LaCrosse tied Johnny Whitman and Marcus Hoeppner with eight feature wins in IMCA modified action in ’25. (danlewisphoto.net)
Multiple class winners
Cole Czarneski (late model, modified & IMCA stock car)
Mike Mullen (late model and IMCA stock car)
Marcus Yarie (IMCA modified and IMCA stock car)
Jayden Schmidt (late model and IMCA modified)
Benji LaCrosse (IMCA modified and IMCA stock car)
Brandon Schmitt (IMCA modified and IMCA stock car)
Shannon Gulette (IMCA stock car and street stock)
Jeff Richards (street stock and grand national)
The class that saw the most winners was the sportmods, which saw no less than 45 different drivers find victory lane. The lowest number of different winners was the grand national division, with 12 different winners.
As always, fans can examine this date and grab many different takeaways from them. Some drivers earned wins at tracks where car counts were solid, week in, week in. Take 141 Speedway for example, which boasted some of the highest weekly car counts in the country.
It’s sort of like “strength of schedule” which is often talked about in college football. At any rate, enjoy these browsing through these numbers. In addition, some divisions generally have much higher car counts for both weekly events and specials. That also can factor in. So, enjoy these numbers. And as always, we’ll continue to post fresh contest at this website 52 weeks a year!
