FEW SPOTS REMAIN FOR 10TH ANNUAL WISCONSIN MOTORSPORTS EXPO FEB. 1
(Popular Luxemburg Racing Show changes name)
(Luxemburg, WI) Jan. 3 – Just a handful of vendor tables remain for the 10th annual Wisconsin Motorsports Expo scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg, Wisconsin.
Formerly known as the Luxemburg Racing Show, the name of the popular off season gathering for the local and regional motorsports community was changed last August. However, race organizer Derek Moede assures everyone the show will continue on from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the spacious Exposition Building in Luxemburg.
“The name change was necessary as many people who’ve asked to join the event’s Facebook page have been mistaking it for the race track Luxy Raceway which hosts races at the same Fairgrounds in Luxemburg,” Moede explained. In recent years, the event has sold out and this popular off season gathering draws several hundred racing enthusiasts not just from northeastern Wisconsin but also neighboring Midwestern states as well.
Among the vendors who’ve signed on to participate again in the 2025 version of the show are: Stars & Stripes Tool, Inc., K & E Sales and Service, Performance Motorsports, International Motor Contest Association (IMCA), Race Components for Gearheads, Kroll Racing Fabrication, 141 Speedway, Luxy Raceway, The Hill Raceway & Dan & Mary Lewis Photography.
Motorsports author Joe Verdegan will also be on hand and will offer a FREE copy of his 2021 release “5-10-32 McBride, Parker & Anvelink with the purchase of any other book in Verdegan’s inventory.
Fans are encouraged to like the event’s Facebook page with it’s new name Wisconsin Motorsports Expo and continue to follow that page for updates.
The show hours on Feb. 1, 2025 will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can reach Moede at (920) 639 4455 for additional information.
In addition to the multiple racing-related vendors and racetracks who have displays the show serves as a great swap meet and drivers sell all sorts of new and used race parts, equipment, and supplies. The heated expo building, located on the east end of the fairgrounds, provides ample space for tables, booths, and exhibits.
More than 600 people made their way through the doors of the show in 2024.
