The website, owned and operated by best-selling author & veteran northeast Wisconsin race track announcer and public relations man Joe Verdegan, is offering fans a chance at a free book to help celebrate the four year milestone.
Beginning September 15 and running through September 30, fans can obtain a FREE copy of either “The Bird & The Bear” or “5-10-32 McBride, Parker & Anvelink” when you purchase either of Verdegan’s other titles available for sale at his website by clicking on the ‘books’ tab. When making that purchase fans can simply email Verdegan at jverdegan2@gmail.com which free book they’d like sent along with the copy or copies purchased through the website. Paypal and Venmo are accepted and no additional shipping and handling charges will be in effect for the bonus ‘free’ book.
In the time since Verdegan’s website was launched on September 15, 2020, a total of 855 stories have been read or listened to over the years. Those stories include 271 segments in “The Scoop,” 185 audio “On The Record” segments, 282 pressers, 94 segments in “The Vault” and 23 Motorsports Marketing Monthly Mail Tips.
