(EAGLE RIVER, WI) Sept. 4 – A $1,500 top prize is up for grabs for Late Model racers during Eagle River Speedway’s season finale Saturday, September 7 presented by Seubert Calf Ranches.

The Late Model feature will pay $200-to-start. All of the track’s other divisions will be in action, including Chef Rene B Modifieds, J n J Construction IMCA Stock Cars, Zdroik Well Drilling Street Stocks, JD Paintball & Archery Supply 600 micros and Halsey Fab/Dan’s Service 300 micros. Joining the track’s weekly divisions will be the Dairyland Vintage Racers.

Twin Lakes, Michigan’s Jesse Aho is among the expected entries for the Seubert Calf Ranches season finale at Eagle River Speedway Saturday, September 7.

13 different late model drivers earned late model points at the third-mile, clay oval in 2024, with most of those drivers considered ‘locals.’ An improvement from a four car field that debuted in May, 2021. “It takes local blood to keep our sport alive,” said track promoter Pat Zdroik. “We really like the affordability of this late model class for weekly racing. We remain committed to this division and we expect more continued slow and steady growth. There are still a few local cars in shops that are close to being finished and we’ve heard of a few newcomers planning to join the division in 2025.”
