EAGLE RIVER SPEEDWAY RELEASES TENTATIVE 2024 SCHEDULE
(SUNDAY MAY 26 OPENER KICKS OFF 15 DATE, ’24 SEASON SCHEDULE)
(EAGLE RIVER, WI) – Eagle River Speedway promoters Pat and Patti Zdroik have recently released their 15 date, 2024 race schedule which is set to kick off Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the third-mile, clay oval.
The traditional Memorial Day lid lifter signals night number one of the points championships for the track’s six weekly classes: Chef Rene B modifieds, Sweetwater late models, Coffen Construction stock cars, Eagle River Dock & Lift street stocks. JD Archery & Paintball 600 micro sprints and Halsey Fab/Dan’s Service 300 micro sprints.
The Dairyland Vintage racers will also be on hand opening night.
The weekly Tuesday night action begins June 11 with “School’s Out/Flag Day/Driver’s autograph night with pure stocks as an added division.
The Zdroik’s ‘5th anniversary celebration as track promoters takes place June 18 with bike giveaway night and giant five-foot trophies doled out to the feature winners.
It will be the stock car division’s turn to shine on June 25 during the annual stock car shootout, with the popular fendered division battling for extra purse money.
A massive fireworks display will cap off the racing action on July 2 with the Mark Zdroik Memorial race. The return of the popular MSA 360 sprint cars will return on a Saturday night special July 6 during the second annual ‘Open Wheels and Wings” night. The track’s regular B mods will be in action with both the 300 and 600 micros.
Kid’s coin toss night is slated for Tuesday, July 9 with the pure stocks returning the following Tuesday July 16. Christmas in July will take place with a return visit from Santa Claus July 23 with dozens of door prizes for the kids.
July 30 marks the first appearance of the Legends as the division joins the track’s regular weekly classes. Backpack giveaway night is set for Aug. 6 with another return of the pure stocks the following week August 13.
Track champions will be crowned during championship night, August 20. A test and tune night is set for Friday, August 30 with the 3rd annual grand national special set for the following night, Saturday, August 31. Dairyland Vintage Racers will join the fun during our season finale with the track’s weekly classes.
