Cleveland, Wisconsin’s John “Ripple” Born was a top competitor in the sportsman division in the 1980’s at both the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds in Plymouth and at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek when the track was still a quarter-mile, paved oval.
