AHO LEADS WIRE-TO-WIRE IN CAUTION FREE, EAGLE RIVER SPEEDWAY B MOD MAIN

(EAGLE RIVER, WI) July 19– Former track champion Jesse Aho of Twin Lakes, Michigan squeezed past race leader Mickey Nosser on lap six and went on to win the caution free, B Mod feature at Eagle River Speedway Tuesday night.

In doing so Aho stretched his point lead in the division.

Defending track champion Jason Zdroik of Eagle River motored around Shawano’s Aaron Reivitis to grab the lead on lap seven and cruised to victory in the late model feature.

Ontonagon, Michigan’s Daymin Heikkila made the long tow from the north pay off. Heikkila fought off a stiff challenge from former track champion Jason Eisel to capture the street stock feature. The event went caution free without a yellow.

Hometown driver Ryan Glembin netted his second feature flag of the year in the stock car feature race. The race ended with a caution after the white flag had been displayed, and per track policy the race was declared complete.

It was another hometown driver – Michael Hicks who captured the 600 micro feature win.

The 300 micro feature wins were split by Eagle River’s Kayden “Bubba” Halsey and Mason Meier, also of Eagle River.

Racing will resume Tuesday, July 26. The Speedway will host a “Christmas in July” special. Round II of the Chef Rene B Modified Triple crown presented by Red’s Auto of Ironwood, MI and Hartman Well Drilling will take place with the winner taking home a $1,000 payday.
