(FREE race tickets, window decals & discounted book prices at all signings)

(Dunbar, Wisconsin) May 6– Motorsports author Joe Verdegan has announced a new, rescheduled five-date racetrack book tour (dictated three times by Mother Nature) of his Amazon No. 1 best seller “5-10-32 McBride, Parker & Anvelink” for the 2022 race season.

The book tells the stories of the colorful race careers of a trio of northeastern Wisconsin dirt late model icons – Shawano’s M.J. McBride, Kaukauna’s Pete Parker and Navarino’s Terry Anvelink.

The five-date tour is slated to kick off at the season opener at Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, Wisconsin Friday, May 13. That signing is scheduled to go from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds. This opener was rescheduled after being postponed one week earlier.

A new recently added date will be at the TUNDRA super late model series opener at the “Bear 66” opener at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The race honors legendary racer Roger “The Bear” Regeth who passed away earlier in the month. Regeth traded paint with McBride, Parker & Anvelink for many years in the ‘70s. That signing is slated to go from noon to 2 p.m.

The legendary half-mile at Shawano Speedway in Shawano, Wisconsin will host the third stop of the tour Saturday, May 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A kids coin toss will also be part of the program at the Shawano County Fairgrounds.

The ‘Burg Speedway in Luxemburg, Wisconsin will host the fourth visit on the tour on Sunday, June 12 during Rick Goral Memorial night. The night honors the long-time track promoter. That signing is set for 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds.

The tour wraps up Saturday, June 25 with a trip to Door County at The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay. The Sturgeon Bay signing, which will occur during the track’s popular Hall of Fame night, is set to run from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at John Miles Park.

All of Verdegan’s other racing titles will be sold at discounted prices at all four of these signings. In the event of a rainout attempts will be made to reschedule. There will also be other items like free race tickets to local speedways, joeverdegan.com window decals and joeverdegan.com koozies available as freebies with book purchases.

For those folks who are unable to attend any signings you can order your books online at this website by clicking on the “books” tab in the upper left corner.
