JIM KROUSE TALKIN’ ABOUT LUXEMBURG, DE PERE & THE COUPE DAYS OF THE ’60S

Green Bay’s Jim Krouse is one of just a handful of retired racers still around who experienced the thrilling days of the coupes trading paint at tracks in De Pere and Luxemburg, Wisconsin in the 1960s.
Those were days of packed grandstands and an occasional scuffle amongst drivers in the pits. Drivers and crew members wore white pants and teams could build a car with every component straight out of the local salvage yard.
