West Salem, Wisconsin’s Steve Carlson was inducted into the Circle of Fame at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, Wisconsin July 8.
When folks talk about the best short track pavement, late model racers in the Midwest I’m not sure this guy gets enough credit.
West Salem, Wisconsin’s Steve Carlson won touring series titles running ARTGO, RE/MAX Challenge and Midwest Tour. Throw in multiple Dixieland 250 wins at WIR in Kaukauna, a Red, White & Blue title, NASCAR weekly series and La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway crowns – it’s safe to say Carlson most certainly deserves to be in that conversation.
