WISCONSIN’S IMCA HEAVY HITTERS SCORE WINS OVER THE WEEKEND

With his IMCA modified feature win at 141 Speedway Saturday, June 5 Green Bay native R.M. ‘Buck’ Van Pay scored his 128th career modified feature win.

With the victory Van Pay pulled ahead of Seymour veteran Brian Mullen as the pair were tied in career feature wins heading into the 2021 season.

Meanwhile many of the area’s heavy hitting veterans in IMCA’s ranks scored wins this weekend at various sanctioned ovals.

Pulaski’s ‘Hot Rod’ Snellenberger collected his 218th career IMCA stock car victory at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek Saturday. The former IMCA national champion leads all Wisconsinites in all time wins.

Meanwhile on Friday night Pulaski native Brandon Czarapata, another former national champion, scored his 128th career sanctioned win at Outagamie Speedway in Seymour. Czarapata remains second in all time Wisconsin victories behind Snellenberger.

At Shawano Speedway Saturday night Horicon’s Jeremy Christians, who ranks fourth in Wisconsin’s all-time victories, scored his 103rd career win.

Not to be outdone Sunday night at The ‘Burg Speedway in Luxemburg was Luxemburg native Benji LaCrosse. LaCrosse nailed his fourth modified feature flag of the ’21 campaign. With his ‘W’ LaCrosse moved up to 123 career wins – four behind Mullen’s 127 and five victories out of first place in all-time feature wins.

The moral of the story? There is no substitute for experience and none of these talented drivers show any signs of slowing down anytime soon.
