(EAGLE RIVER, WI) May 24 – Veterans of all branches of service in the United States will be admitted free of charge during the season opening race at Eagle River Speedway in Eagle River, Wisconsin Sunday, May 30.

The track’s weekly six division show will be in action, along with the local Pure Stock class added for the opener. A huge fireworks display will cap off the evening’s events courtesy of Harry’s Fireworks. The first green flag flies at 7:30 p.m. There will be no increase in admission prices for 2021. Adults will be $12, seniors are $10, students 6’17 are $6 with kids five and under free with a paid adult.

A total of 14 race nights dot the track’s ’21 calendar, including a handful of “Test and Tune” sessions thrown into the mix. Highlighting the track’s schedule is a B Mod Triple Crown series paying $1,000-to-win each night. The icing on the cake for that series will be the point champion in that triple crown will take home a minimum $1,500 cash bonus for winning the series.

The dates for this series are June 22, July 27 and August 17. Drivers will only be allowed to run the Hoosier G-60 tires for those three shows.

In it’s second year the ERS late models will return weekly, with that second-year division set for a special event August 3. The driver’s autograph night was so popular two nights have been set aside for that on July 20 & August 24 with the backpack giveaway/back-to-school night set for August 10.

Additional firework displays will take place on June 29 and July 6 to cap off the races, and June 15 is pegged for a huge bike giveaway for the kids. The stock car division will shine that night for a special event as well.

It will be the Street Stocks turn to shine during a special event for that class July 6 while Santa Claus could very well make an appearance July 20 during our “Christmas in July” night. Many door prizes will be doled out that night.

Champions in all the divisions will be crowned on season championship night August 24 but the fun doesn’t stop there. Eagle River Speedway has partnered up with nearby TNT Speedway in Three Lakes for a two-night special in September. Eagle River will host the racing action September 4 while TNT will have their program September 5. A special point fund will be up for grabs for racers who decide to battle at both tracks that weekend. The 600 Micro and Junior Sprints will also be battling for some extra loot during their special night.

Divisions competing weekly in 2021 include the B Mods, ERS Late Models, Stock Cars, Unified Street Stocks, Junior Sprints and 600 Micro Sprints. The Pure Stock division will also compete during a handful of nights.
