LACROSSE MOVES TO WITHIN SIX OF VAN PAY, MULLEN IN ALL TIME IMCA WINS

LACROSSE CLOSES TO WITHIN SIX OF MULLEN & VAN PAY IN ALL TIME IMCA MOD WINS
With his victory at Outagamie Speedway Friday, May 14 Luxemburg native Benji LaCrosse closed to within six wins of Wisconsin’s all-time winningest IMCA modified racers – Seymour’s Brian Mullen and Green Bay native R.M. Van Pay.
Heading into the 2021 campaign Mullen and Van Pay each scored 127 sanctioned wins. One week ago, Green Bay’s Eddie Muenster closed to within one victory of Pulaski’s Brad Rohloff with his 71st sanctioned, feature flag. Rohloff sits sixth in all-time wins with Muenster in seventh.
After winding up in victory lane Friday night at Outagamie Pulaski native Brandon Czarapata notched another “W” to boost his all-time sanctioned IMCA stock car victory total to 127. The former national champion still has a way to go to reach another Pulaski racer who sits atop the all time stock car wins board – ‘Hot Rod’ Snellenberger who holds 217 sanctioned victories under his belt.
Heading into this weekend sanctioned races in northeast Wisconsin will be held at 141 Speedway (Francis Creek) and Shawano Speedway on Saturday night. The Hill Raceway kicks off it’s season after a year off due to the pandemic with a 6 p.m. start time at John Miles Park Saturday.
Sunday night The last track to open their doors in the area – The ‘Burg Speedway in Luxemburg, will kick off their 2021 season with a 5 p.m. start time.
