(Francis Creek, WI) – 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wisconsin will host one more big race to wrap up the 2024 season Friday, October 11 with the “Car Wars At The Creek” special.
The Friday night special will feature the track’s six, weekly divisions with boosted payout. IMCA modifieds will scrap for a $2,000 prize; IMCA stock cars will battle for $1,500-to-win while IMCA northern sportmods will duke it out for a $1,200 prize.
Other classes in action will be Unified Dirt street stocks ($750-to-win), Unified grand nationals ($500-to-win) and IMCA sport compacts ($500-to-win).
“I was actually in the woods with my son during the youth deer hunt over the weekend and I looked at the extended weather forecast,” said 141’s Tim Czarneski. “I talked to a friend of mine from Iowa, Timmy Current. He’s with Dark Side Promotions. We talked during the IMCA Supernationals at Boone about promoting a race together sometime. That time is now and we’re hoping to draw a few Iowa drivers up for this Friday night special event.”
Racing action gets underway at 6 p.m. A special test-and-tune will take place the night prior Thursday, October 10 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat pizza and wings buffet available in the Left Turn Lounge.
Adult pit passes will be $35. Adult admission is $22 with student & senior tickets at $20. Kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult. For more information, check the 141 Speedway Facebook page.
