$1000 TRIPLE CROWN FOR EAGLE RIVER SPEEDWAY B MODS SET FOR JUNE 21

ROUND I OF CHEF RENE’S B MOD TRIPLE CROWN SET FOR EAGLE RIVER SPEEDWAY JUNE 21
($1,000 to the winner – $125 to start each feature)
(EAGLE RIVER, WI) – The first leg of the popular Chef Rene’s B Mod Triple Crown series at Eagle River Speedway is set to kick off Tuesday, June 21 at the third-mile, clay oval in Eagle River, Wisconsin.
Three different drivers scored wins in all three of the series events in ’21. Those winners included Eagle River drivers Jason Zdroik, Bruce Belland and New Franken’s Gabe Zellner, who scored the August win in his first ever appearance at the track. 27 different drivers representing one dozen different tracks across Wisconsin and Michigan took part in the three-race series with Zdroik winning the series by five points over Josh Smith of Fall Creek.
The series is open to IMCA-style sportmods, WISSOTA-style Midwest Modifieds and USRA B modifieds. The two tires allowed for this three-race series are the Hoosier G 60 and USRA American Racer G 60. The series sponsors include Chef Rene’s, Red’s Auto and Hartman Well Drilling. The other triple crown series dates are slated for Tuesday nights July 12 and August 9, respectively.
All shows will employ a draw/redraw format. A full show of ERS late models, stock cars, street stocks, 300 and 600 sprints is also on tap.
The draw cutoff for drivers is 6:45 p.m. Hot laps are set for 7:15 p.m. with the first green flag flying at 7:30 p.m.
